[Private/PvE] Business

Walking along a road, Leo came across a wooden post. Hammered into the post was a flimsy piece of paper with huge bold lettering. It read:

'Find and eliminate a problematic Beastman tribe leader for a bounty reward.'

This bounty piqued Leo's interest as he ripped it off of the post and read the last known location of the Beastman. He continued to walk along the road, further reading the paper.

'The type of Beastman that is being described is reffered to as a "Lizardman". It is said to be about 6'9, with black scales, red eyes and a distinct white mark in the middle of its head. Be careful: our witness died after reporting this beast.'

Leo scoffed as he crumbled the paper and tossed it to the ground. "This should be fun," he started "reminds me of the old days when Bault and I used to go on adventures." as he walked he put his arms behind his head, taking everything in.

In the clearing of the forest, a creature crouched, hunched over a small corpse. It was a lizard like creature, but still humanoid. It dug into the flesh of the fresh corpse, staining it's jaw in blood.

It resembled a large komodo dragon, hence it's carnivore appetite. Though beastmen had evolved into sensible creatures, this one stayed primal and savage. It enjoyed the entire taste of it's fresh meat.

Leo came to an abrubt halt as he came cross the Lizardman lounging over the bloody corpse. Regaining his composure, he ran closer to the beast stopping about 5 feet away from it.

"You goddamn animal!" Leo roared as he got into his combative stance. It was a boxer stance, but altered. His right hand covered his face while his left hand hung freely. His feet were shoulder with a part and his legs were bent. He began to bounce slightly around the Beastman. "Fight me!" he yelled at the Lizardman.

The lizard beastmen stopped what he was doing and pivoted to turn and face Leo. The reports were wrong, he was maybe 6'4 on a good day and not very bulky. His build was was slim; built for agility.

"You must be a moron to come straight out and fight me like this." He said. Though primal and savage, he was still a beastmen. With a flick of his wrists, claws appeared on each of his appendages. At first glace, it was clear they were razor sharp.

The lizard suddenly dashed forward and quickly struck out to Leo twice with successive swipes.

Leo was caught by suprise by the cosecutive strikes, his cheek getting slashed and a cut being carved above his nose.

30 HP - 6 DAM = 24 HP

He winced in pain as he stumbled backwards, struggling to regain his footing. Blood began to rush out of his face. He wiped the blood away, though. He had dealt with much worse before.

Regaining his footing, Leo quickly rushed at the Beastman throwing a quick jab with his non-dominant hand, only to stop it before it reached the Lizardman's face. With his dominant hand, he aimed a forceful uppercut at the Lizardman's chin.

The lizard creature dodge back at the first jab, but saw it was coming short. As the fist withdrew, he tried to use that time to close in and attack again, but was caught short by Leo's quick right hand.

30-2= 28 HP.

The beastman was dazed by the sudden attack and wobbled back, trying to regain his footing.

Seeing that his uppercut connected successfuly, Leo decided not to give the Lizard any time to recover. He lunged forward at the beast, quickly but forcefully aiming a punch at it's ribs.

"Take this!" he roared.

The monster was still stunned and took the attack full on. It hissed back and Leo, but re-caught his footing. With a full 360 turn, it revealed another weapon of his.

With it's powerful tail, it swept the ground, attempting to knock Leo over and doing some damage...!

"Fuccccckkkkkk!" Leo exclaimed as the tail swiped him down to the ground forecfully.

24 HP - 2 DAM = 22 HP

While on the floor, Leo quickly saw an advantage and took it. He aimed a powerful kick at the Lizardman's ankles, hoping to catch the beast by suprise again.

The lizard man was caught off guard by the attack and lost his balance. His foot was kicked up from under him and he came tumbling down to the side of Leo. On his way down, he tried to twist and slam his tail onto leo...!

Leo's eyes popped as he watched the Lizardman try to slam his tail on his torso. A large, scaly tail was absolutley horrifying.

Luckily, he managed to roll out and away from immediate danger.

He rolled away from the beast and back onto his feet. Quickly, he stomped on the ground, causing medium, but heavy pebbles to rise from the ground. 4 in total. With a thrust he sent three towards the Lizard man, hoping to inflict pain onto the beast. "Let's see how you like this..." Leo muttered to himself.

The lizard beast got up quickly enough to see the attack being formed. He brought up his huge tail to block, but missed 2.

24-3 = 21 HP

Once again, he hissed in frustration and charged at Leo. This time he used opposite claw strikes. With his right hand, he used an overhand strike, but with his other, he used an uppercut strike, forming a pincer.

Leo still had control over the fourth and final boulder, and, knowing he couldn't do much in his situation allowed himself to become clobbered by the giant Lizardman. The claws ripped Leo's shirt and made the cut on his cheek even deeper, blood began to rush. Leo stumbled backwards.

22 HP - 6 DAM = 16 HP

However, as the Lizard man used his claws to chomp Leo, the Hybrid (while stumbling) pulled his arm forward, thrusting the boulder at the beast's skull forcefully, hoping to cause serious damage.

The lizard-beast tried to block the attack, but wasn't fast enough. The boulder hit him and to toppled over backwards. Using it's tail, it propped back onto two feet. The beast slithered up almost like a snake and pounced forward with a gracious speed. Coming within a few feet of Leo, it opened it's mouth, revealing it's final technique.

Venomous Acid! - The user spews a dangerous acid over it's opponent.

A string of green goo sprayed out from the lizard's mouth, heading directly for leo...!

The acid spewed out of the Lizardman's mouth and onto Leo's torso. Leo screamed in agony as he stumbled backwards yet again, trying to keep his footing.

16 HP - 6 DAM = 10

Almost instantly, despite the pain, Leo regained his footing. With geat concentration, his hands began to glow an icy blue, creating a "hummm" sound. He put his hands to his burned chest and winced as the burns began to fade. He had healed himself.

Healed! 1 + 3 WIL = 4 HP!

Regaining his composure, Leo ripped off the remains of his shirt.

"It's not over yet, you freak!" Leo roared as he rushed towards the Lizardman. He lunged forward, using his manipulation over the Earth to send medium size boulders hurling towards the Lizardman from behind. As he made he came face to face with the beast, he suddenly bent down.

The beastman, once again, used his tail to block, but the damage still went through.

With a loud hiss, the lizard charged forward. It opened it's mouth again, about to use his acid attack. It was a feint, however, and as the lizard got closer, it swung it's huge tail at Leo..!

Leo allowed himself to be smacked by the Lizardman's tail, causing him to skid backwards.

14 HP - 2 DAM = 12 HP

Almost instantly Leo rushed forward at the Lizardman again, throwing a punch with his non dominant hand only for it to be a feint followed up by a fake right, only for Leo to bend down once again. This time, however, Leo with a forceful thrust upwards, used yet another elemental attack, causing a stone to rocket directly at the Lizardman's chin.

With it's speedy reflexes, the lizardman dodge the ability by weaving his head. In the same motion, he stepped into Leo's ribcage. With a frightful hiss, it opened it's mouth, spraying green acid directly at his midsection at nearly pointblank range...!

As the acid hit Leo, he sent a sharp piece of earth towards the rib cage of the Lizardman and rolled back in pain, holding his ribs.

The lizard brought his hand up to block the damage, but it still partially went through...

With no mercy, the lizard stuck forward at the cringing Leo. With a renewed ferocity, it swiped it's claw horizontally, aiming for Leo's rib cage...!

Strike! Attempting 6 DAM...

Even though the Lizardman was faster than him, he was only faster than Leo by a small margin.

Luckily, Leo managed to avoid the claw swipe by jumping backwards and rolling out of harm's way.

Leo put his hands together and they began to glow blue once again. He put them to his rib and the burns began to fade away.

Healed! 1 + 3= 4 HP

Current HP: 10

"Let's do this without those claws!" Leo shouted over to the Beastman, "Nothing but our hands and our skill! None of that acid bullshit, either."

He stood up and got back into hs original stance with his dominant hand covering his face and his left arm hanging loosely.

"Beastman to Beastman!"

The beastman lizard chuckled a bit. "Alright, sure.." he said, putting away his claws. He dashed forward toward Leo and took a huge step to get in range. When he was in range, he threw a big overhand right punch. It was a feint, however. With his head to Leo's side, he opened his mouth and attempted to spray acid over Leo's side.

Leo didn't go for the fake, nor did he expect the Lizardman to honor his conditions. With skill, Leo weaved the acid, barley escaping it. However, due to acid not being a physical attack, it was much faster, and even though Leo dodged it by a little, the side of his face was burned. He stumbled backwards and onto the floor. He was directly on the side of the Lizardman.

Partial-Dodge! - 3 HP

Current HP: 7

Seeing this as his chance to inflict serious damage, Leo once again sent two Earth projectiles towards the Beastman, one from his right and one from his left. However, with him being on the right side of the Lizardman, he stopped it before he hit the Beastman, but allowed the left projectile to rocket towards the beast's side. He still held control over the right projectile.

In one motion, the beastman swatted down the projectile with his tail. It did damage, but some of it was blocked. He charged forward onto Leo's right side, being cognizant of the earth projectile on his left.

The beastman thrust his hand forward and at the last second, jutted his claws back out, extending his reach and trying to catch Leo off-guard...

The beast tried to reach it's claw backwards to attack, but Leo blocked it.

Feeling that he was running out of options, Leo once again conjured up some more projectiles. He made 5 this time though. He sent 4 towards the Lizardman and threw the other one behnd him. He kept his control over it though.

Leo, wanting to finish this battle of, flew onto the ground and played dead.
